Manuscripts submitted to ThufuLA: Jurnal Inovasi Pendidikan Guru Raudhatul Athfal undergo a selection and assessment process by the Board of Editors to ensure that they follow the author guidelines, fit the journal’s focus and scope, and are of excellent academic quality. Manuscripts are reviewed using the double-blind peer review method, in which neither the authors nor the reviewers know each other’s identities. The decision to publish, revise, or reject is based on the reviewers’ recommendations. In certain cases, the editor may assign a third reviewer if additional evaluation is needed.
Step 1: Acknowledgment. The submission is acknowledged automatically by the journal system upon receipt.
Step 2: Initial Screening. The editor checks the manuscript for its fit with the focus and scope, compliance with the template and author guidelines, research ethics, and similarity using Turnitin (maximum 20%). The screening result is sent to the author(s) within a maximum of three weeks.
Step 3: Review Assignment. The manuscript, without author names or affiliations, is sent to two reviewers who are experts in early childhood education or the relevant field. The review process takes a maximum of four weeks.
Step 4: Review Feedback. The editor collects the review reports and sends them to the author(s), including comments, recommendations, and publication conditions.
Step 5: Revision Process. If revision is required, the author(s) are asked to submit a revised version within fourteen days, together with a response to the reviewers’ comments. The revised manuscript is then re-evaluated by the same reviewers. If the reviewers maintain the same or similar critical assessments, the manuscript is rejected. If the revisions meet the reviewers’ and editor’s expectations, the manuscript proceeds to the next stage.
Step 6: Acceptance. The editor makes the final decision and sends a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) to the corresponding author.
Step 7: Copyediting and Proofreading. The accepted manuscript is checked for language, format, and reference style (APA 7th edition), then laid out and sent to the author(s) for final approval.
Step 8: Online Publication. The final version is published online with a DOI. The editor notifies the corresponding author of its publication and provides the article link.
